About Me

Hello! My name is Alannah Trigg. I am a Gemini and am categorized as an ENFJ/INFJ personality (according to Myers Briggs, herself). I have one brother who is four years younger than me. I grew up on a farm with my parents in Oak Grove, Missouri. In high school, I enjoyed being in band, choir, show choir, and theatre of course! I graduated Oak Grove High in 2020 with a diploma and COVID. After, I went to Metropolitan Community College, where I graduated with my Associate of Arts and then transferred to the University of Central Missouri where I recently graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre. I currently work as a barista, where I daydream about the next time I can travel. My other hobbies include hiking, camping, and all things outdoors.

“Alannah possesses a rare quality of both tactile, intentional comedic abilities and sensible, nuanced and even emotional resonance for dramatic performances. Not only is she ripe with versatility, has a work ethic every team - both on and off the stage - could hope for; and on top of that, she makes the audience feel safe thanks to the confidence she wields knowing her true calling is on the stage.”

"Alannah is AWESOME! Incredible attitude, a team player, and a passionate performer.  She brings a joyful and natural energy to every role she plays and makes every group she is part of better by her presence.  She meets deadlines, works incredibly hard, and is just fun to work with.  I love it when I get the opportunity to work with Alannah!"

“Uta Hagen, German-American actress and theatre practitioner teaches that “your (acting) practice should start with understanding The Self. Your identity. To bring authenticity and believability to a performance, to a person, to a scene or play, you must understand people. Understanding yourself gives you an endless source of inspiration.”  Alannah’s acting work exhibits Ms. Hagen’s Philosophy perfectly.  As a director who has worked extensively with Alannah, her ability to substitute her own personal experiences and memories in evoking genuine emotions during her performances showcases the benefit actors get from honestly answering Ms. Hagen’s 9 questions and the excellence that can be achieved when an actor engages into sincere thoughtful intrapersonal work and interpersonal observation when developing characters. Rarely have I had the pleasure of working with an actress who so effortlessly showcases the execution of Hagen’s acting theory as I have been honored to experience when working with Alannah. She is the epitome of what great actors strive to be. "
